Hello, I'm Karin
A qualified counsellor who believes the right fit changes everything.
I work with couples and individuals from a calm, safe and confidential space in Macclesfield — face to face, or remotely by telephone and Zoom. Together we can work through what's troubling you and build a better understanding of how you think, why you feel the way you do, and why you might behave in certain ways.
As a qualified person-centred counsellor, with training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Life Coaching, I take an integrative approach — a service tailored to your needs rather than a one-size-fits-all method.
The first step is simply to see if we're the right fit. In my experience, if it feels right, the likelihood is you'll get what you need from our work together. If you're curious about counselling or just want to learn more, please get in touch — I'd be glad to help.
How I can help
Taking the first step is hard. It often paves the way forward.
At some stage we may all reach a point where we feel the need to talk to someone. Sometimes we tell ourselves we're fine and brush things aside — but the issues are still there, still holding us back, and they need to be looked at eventually.
I'll work alongside you, listening and gently guiding, as you find answers, make changes and find your way forward. Counselling is different for everyone, but it's always built on a trusting relationship — and that starts with getting to know you.
